Center for Limb Preservation

The Center for Limb Preservation cares for patients – most often people with diabetes – who have conditions that put them at risk for foot and leg amputation, such as infections, wounds that won't heal and peripheral artery disease. Our center is the first of its kind in the Bay Area to focus on preventing amputation.

Vascular surgeons and podiatrists manage care and coordinate referrals as needed. Patients may benefit from seeing specialists in cardiology, endocrinology, infectious disease, orthopedics, plastic surgery or rehabilitation.
